Tom Bones Malone (of Blues Brothers Fame) posted this on the Horn Driven Radio Facebook page, so we thought we would share this with eveyrone:

Tom writes:  “I recently had the honor of recording the horn section for the Robert Johnson International Blues Review featuring Rev. Stephen Johnson, grandson of Robert Johnson. Produced by Vasti Jackson. Download the song “Crossroads” here: <https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150639224469431&set=a.102223049430.87667.505184430&type=1>”

And From Vasti Jackson:

I am excited to share with our new project the Robert Johnson International Blues Revue.

Steven Johnson (grandson of Robert Johnson), and I meet over a decade ago while working on the film Stop Breakin’ Down we have been blessed with many opportunities to cultivate projects that continue the legacy of Robert Johnson.

We are presently in Harlem (New York) for the Apollo presentation of Robert Johnson at 100. And, today is the release of our first single “Crossroad”!

This version is electrified, and on fire. We got Tom ‘Bones’ Malone from David Letterman on horns, and Keiko Komaki on Piano, and organ.

Please download it at the link below.
