The mighty Micster, MIC GILLETTE, is rejoining Tower of Power on lead trumpet after a 25-year absence. Mic brings a power and style to his brass playing that must be heard and felt to be appreciated. Mike Bogart, lead trumpet for Tower of Power for the past ten years leaves a great legacy and is moving on to bring us more great music with the United States Naval Academy Band in Annapolis, MD. Mike is re-entering active duty and joining the horn section of the Navy’s premier contemporary entertainment ensemble “Electric Brigade” to finish out the Navy career he started before joining Tower of Power.
