Greg Adams and an East Bay Soul Update

August 14, 2012 by adminhdr

East Bay Soul

East Bay Soul

East Bay Soul has a new Kickstarter project.  The goal this time is to raise money to create a video for promotional purposes.  Here is a bit about the video from Greg:

Hi Everyone,

I’m Greg Adams. In 2008, I had an idea to create an ensemble project called East Bay Soul, initially assembled with live dates in mind. It’s A Big Band… and what followed was the self-identifying East Bay Soul CD that created the tool for booking shows. With a great team, everyone involved invested their creativity and services with just one expectation… we were building something for the future. As the project evolved, and with the perfect mix of musicians and chemistry we made East Bay Soul 2.0!  Made possible from the fan base who last year pledged to Join East Bay Soul 2.0.

East Bay Soul is relatively new and WITHOUT a booking agent. I know SEEING IS BELIEVING… Music is not only what you hear, but also what you see.  The Plan… To make the first BIG video to promote East Bay Soul 2.0 to let festival promoters and talent buyers know what this band is all about…it is all about performing live. YES, WE LOVE TO PERFORM LIVE!  It’s those moments on stage when you connect with your audience that makes your whole day. The rest of your time is just waiting to get there!

If this idea works for ME, it will hopefully also work for other artists who want to stay independent, and simultaneously give time, energy and thanks back to the people who’ve supported them.

Please continue to read the East Bay Soul Story to see what we have planned. You are making me and East Bay Soul Possible!
